ARTIST STATEMENT 

Clay provides a canvas that can kinesthetically be molded to create vessels of tangible power within ordinary objects. By just one touch, these objects bring peace, joy, and love into one's daily life. 

BIO

Jenna Chastain was born and raised in Orlando, FL. Growing up she always had a passion for making and creating art. She took her first ceramics class in high school, continuing into advanced ceramics courses. She continued with her passion for clay after graduation, deciding to pursue ceramics further as a chosen career. 

Jenna Chastain continued her education at the University of Central Florida, where she earned a Bachelors in Fine Arts, Studio Art Degree in Ceramics during the Spring of 2019. She is currently the ceramics instructor at Boone High School in Orlando, FL.
